TrueCare® is a distributed patient data repository connecting a growing network of premier hospitals in Europe. Today it stores more than 55.000 individual medical records covering roughly 130.000 clinical encounters, including clinical, genetic and metagenomic data, 2D and 3D imaging diagnostics (Ultrasound, MRI, CT).

The platform is designed on the Virtual Physiological Architecture Service (PaaS) principles, developed by Lynkeus and implemeted in multiple EU-funded projects. The system semantically integrates standard clinical data, multidimensional digital matrices from imaging studies, genomic and metagenomic data into a unified information model designed to support development and testing of clinical predictive models.

Data are anonymized for third party use and accessible through virtual servers, at no cost, for clinical research, analytics and knowledge discovery.

The platform is equipped with multiple data interfaces including REST APIs, data annotation and curation tools.
